Manufacturing Victory: The Arsenal of Democracy tells the inspiring story of the homefront effort that produced tanks, planes, ships and guns with staggering speed and unparalleled energy during World War II.
The 1,500-square-foot exhibit includes compelling artifacts, photographs, oral histories and interactive audio/video components that immerse the visitor in the story of America’s mighty industrial war engine. The exhibit debuted at The National WWII Museum in 2014 before embarking on a national tour. Garland will be the only Texas city to host the exhibit in 2022.
The exhibit will be at City Hall, 200 N. Fifth St., from June 6 through Aug. 15 during the following times:
- 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays
- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays
