Canvas and Cookies

Children of all ages are invited to snack and paint during this interactive in-person program!
Children will follow the steps for painting an a fun mug filled with hot cocoa using acrylic paint on stretch canvas. For a small snack during the event, prepackaged cookies will be provided.
- Registration is required for participation
- A maximum of 40 kits will be available for 40 child participants (due to popularity, only children will get kits)
- Art kits are first come first serve
- Families can call the South Garland Branch Library at 972-205-3934 or register online via a forthcoming Google Form
All art supplies and snacks will be provided:
- 8x10 stretched canvas
- Paints
- 2 paint brushes
- Stencil
- Scissors
- Paper towels
- Plastic plates
- Cup of water
- Pencil
- Prepackaged cookies
- Disposable aprons
Note: The paint brushes, cups, plastic plates, pencils, and scissors will be reusable for future painting programs.
