As part of the $1.7 billion 635 East project to widen and improve Interstate 635, all lanes of the freeway will be closed at Greenville Avenue from 8 p.m. Saturday, June 12, to noon Sunday, June 13. Entrance ramps from Central Expressway to eastbound I-635 will also be closed.

There will be rolling full closures of I-635 in both directions at Oates Drive from 11 p.m. Thursday, June 10, to 5 a.m. Friday, June 11, and from 11 p.m. Friday, June 11, to 5 a.m. Saturday, June 12.

The connector ramp from southbound I-635 to westbound I-30 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. from the evening of Wednesday, June 9, to the morning of Sunday, June 13, and from the evening of Monday, June 14, to the morning of Sunday, June 20. The connector ramps from I-30 to southbound I-635 will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, June 11, to 5 a.m. Saturday, June 12, and from 8 p.m. Saturday, June 12, to 5 a.m. Sunday, June 13.

The HOV/Express managed toll lanes on I-635 between Oates Drive and TI Boulevard also remain closed until the project is completed. The rebuilt tolled managed lanes will have shoulders and be separated from the main lanes by concrete barriers.
