Happy Birthday Garland Landmark Museum!

On this day in 1974 the Garland Landmark Museum was dedicated. The museum's original location was behind City Hall at Museum Plaza. Currently, it is at Walnut and Sixth Streets in Heritage Crossing.

Literacy Gym at the Central Library Express

Participants will play fun, active games focused on gaining literacy skills needed for lifelong readers. Each attendee will receive a literacy take-home gift.

Babies, from newborns to 18 months, and their caregivers can learn, play and grow in this storytime designed to engage our youngest patrons with rhymes, songs, bounces, and books. Activities will incorporate early literacy practices that caregivers can bring into their babies' everyday lives.

Preschool Discovery at the North Garland Branch Library

Children ages 3-5 will learn, play, and grow during this interactive storytime full of stories, creative movement, and songs that will strengthen listening, language, and literacy skills.

Toddler Time at the South Garland Branch Library

Learn, play, and grow in this storytime designed for toddlers, ages 18 months to 3 years, and their caregivers! With books, songs, rhymes, and movement, toddlers will develop early literacy skills to help them grow and have fun.
